TAMS Model-Aware™ MTConnect Adapters
The Model-Aware™ Adapters and AdapterSdk provided by TAMS, represents far more than a brand name. Its the embodiment of an innovative technology that we at TAMS pioneered. Model-Aware™ indicates that the foundation of the solution is a technology, methodology and framework that upholds the highest standards of complance and quality. This isn't just a new way for developing MTConnect solutions; it's a groundbreaking approach we are the poineers of.
At the heart of this technology is a transformative process. It involves the automatic transpilation of the MTConnect Information Model from SysML into C# classes, structures, and enumerations. This pivotal process is what enables the automatic generation of the essential source code that forms the backbone of every Model-Aware™ MTConnect Solution.
Designed for seamless integration and ensuring automatic compliance, Model-Aware™ is at the forefront of innovation in industrial connectivity. Every commercial adapter from TAMS is Model-Aware™, equipped to support an array of features that will change the face of MTConnect and the Industrial Internet of Things. With our Model-Aware™ solutions and framework TAMS is defining the future of MTConnect.

Model-Aware™ Adapter for Hexagon CMMs
CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) are often pivotal workcenters in a shop and can be a significant source of bottlenecks. Despite their critical role, integrating them into IIoT projects can be challenging, as they are frequently overlooked or considered as an afterthought. Many existing solutions for CMM integration are restrictive, requiring specific versions of inspection software or failing to adequately capture the time associated with calibration routines.
Additionally, these solutions often suffer from inconsistency in performance. Our MTConnect solution for Hexagon / Brown & Sharpe CMMs addresses these issues head-on. We provide a comprehensive, reliable MTConnect solution that is compatible with some of the most prevalent CMMs in the industry. Our solution is uniquely designed to support both legacy and modern messaging protocols, ensuring seamless integration and consistent performance, regardless of the age or model of your CMM equipment.
